Classroom Policies
Office Hours:
Students are encouraged to come and see me during office hours with any questions.
If you cannot come during scheduled hours, please make an appointment.
Visiting the Website:
Students are responsible for any information posted to this website. Therefore, it
is important that you check the site before every class. I will post any changes in the
schedule, assignments, etc. on this site.
Attendance:
Students need to attend class regularly. Discussions will go far
beyond what is in the textbook. You will need this information for tests
and other assignments. More than two absences will affect a student's grade.
Late Papers/Assignments:
Assignments are to be turned in at the beginning of the class session in
which they are due (see syllabus for deadlines). For every day late, the grade will
be reduced by 10 points.
Cheating and Ethical Violations:
Students who cheat or otherwise engage in significant ethical violations can expect
me to pursue such matters to the full extent of my abilities, up to and including seeking
expulsion from ISU.
