BTE Standards Checklist Assignment
You need to show proficiency in all of these areas as a result of your student teaching. First, you do not have to teach in all of the areas to show expertise in those areas. You can show knowledge of accounting, computer applications, marketing, and management in an Introduction to Business class or in a Consumer Education class. Remember that no area of business exists alone, and you will often use examples from other areas of business to reinforce your teaching.
If you have difficulty getting examples to use as evidence, go to the two links provided. The links go into greater depth and provide more examples of the types of activities which would help justify your mastery of each area.
